Maxwell Farms

Maxwell Farms owns and operates 12 dairy farms with 18,000 cows across the central North Island of New Zealand. We assisted them when they took the company through a restructure to enable a corporate business model.

To meet the needs of the new business model, BES implemented Sage 300 ERP and the BES Agri Solution which includes a livestock tracking system. Maxwell Farms has benefitted from the enhanced reporting capabilities resulting from these solutions being tightly integrated into their accounting system.

The Maxwell Farms team were very keen on a cloud solution, as they wanted to focus on farming issues rather than IT issues.  BES proposed their sister company, Pacific Technology Solutions, to provide the cloud delivery.  Like many agri businesses, Maxwell Farms are located in a rural area – Pacific Technology has significant experience with delivering high speed internet to rural locations.
