Equipment Service Management
Many of our commercial customers provide a maintenance or equipment servicing or warranty service to their customers. Rather than develop a standalone system for this, they have chosen the Technisoft solution which integrates seamlessly into Sage 300 ERP.
The BES team know this system well and it is used by many of our customers including: Go-Bus, Hyundai Construction Equipment Australia (HCEA), and its parent company Porter Group.
The system manages preventative maintenance, scheduling of resources, field service, and general equipment servicing. Equipment transfers, warranty, rental, serial and lot tracking. Standard and WIP accounting. Profit analysis. General, recurring and consolidated invoicing. Issues parts, services, travel, and contractor services. Time entry, labour tracking, resource utilisation. Billable/Non-billable time. Task and activity checklists. PO’s, requisitions, authorisation workflow. Returns, refurbishments, rotations. Service, Meter and Warranty Agreements.
Project Job Costing
In addition, many of our customers require a job costing solution – called Project Job Costing or PJC. The Technisoft solution also provides the functionality for these needs. As an example, Lockwood Homes use this system to manage the components that they need to build and complete each home – they call this a ‘house lot’. This is a very valuable system for them.
Another customer is Rotary Platforms who manufacture milking shed components. They use the PJC capabilities to identify and manage the components that make up a shed.
These are mature solutions which includes the functionality for these services and also the benefit of taking care of the accounting requirements.
